child care online's Mission is three-fold:

For the Child Care Community
Our mission: To champion excellence in child care by working hand in hand with parents and
all members of the child care community. To focus the passion in caring for children into
excellence in our undertakings. To strengthen child care, one visitor at a time.

For Parents
Our mission: To provide the support necessary to enable parents to become effective
consumers of child care through empowering information and services.

For Providers
Our mission: To help child care providers start, run and grow a successful child care business.     To offer resources that will guide them in the delivery of quality services for children and families.

Code of Ethics

Because child care is critically important to children, parents, families, caregivers, employers and others, organizations and individuals that provide child care information on the Internet have special, strong obligations to be trustworthy, provide high quality content, protect users’ privacy, and adhere to standards of best practices for online commerce and online professional services.

RECOGNIZING the responsibility of providing information on the Web and believing that all people who use the Internet for child care related purposes must be able to trust that the sites they visit to adhere to the highest ethical standards and that the information provided is credible, child care online has adopted the following CODE OF ETHICS.

his/her optimum physical, social, cognitive and creative development.

     3) To build a partnership with parents, caregivers, employers and organizations by sharing
knowledge that will benefit the development of all children.

     4) To strive for excellence in the child care field by maintaining and enhancing our own
         knowledge and skills.

     5) To respect and acknowledge that the responsibility for choosing and monitoring child care
arrangements lies solely with the parent

     6) To respect the rights and dignity of colleagues and other professional bodies.
